If you don’t like the portrait, you don’t have to buy it. In that case, the portrait remains mine to do with as I wish.

If you examine the color copy or jpeg and feel the portrait needs some finishing touches, I will work on it some more and send you another color copy or jpeg for approval. When you approve and the balance due arrives, I will ship your portrait. Shipments go out promptly with Paypal or money orders. Checks may be held 7-10 days.

You send us your favorite photo with information on what kind of background you would like, dress, hair style, and other features you want. And I will create an original oil portrait, hand painted and ready for your display right here in the USA.

I also will stay in touch with you via email and send you a progress report with attachment of the art work in progress. This process takes 3-4 weeks to complete, that includes the needed drying time for the portrait. Original pictures should be sent for better quality and will be later returned with the oil portrait. Oil portraits are sent through foam wrapped priority mail, flat, to not damage or crease your portrait. These oil portraits are real, hand painted quality.

A down payment of $150. is due at time of ordering.

You may scan and send your picture to me and are welcome to ask questions before the start of your portrait. Larger size and smaller size oil portraits are also available for a fixed price to fit your budget. Gift certificates also available. Please call. How does it work?

Place your order now – You can upload your photos; send them by email or snail mail. – Choose size, number of figures, framing and checkout. Only a 20% down payment is required. Creation of your painting – I provide you with a  photo copy for your approval. – I take a photo of the completed painting and email the proof to you, Your feedback is very important – You can send me your feedback and suggest changes. We are going to modify the painting until you are fully satisfied with it, Approval and delivery – The remaining balance is only due after you are 100% satisfied and you have approved your painting. I will ship the painting to you after your final approval and balance payment.

My photograph is not in a digital format. What can I do?

Please, take your photograph to a local copy shop and scan it. Optionally, you can provide me with a digital photo of your hardcopy photograph (photo of photo).

Wonderful gift idea! Just contact me and I will prepare for you a lovely designed gift certificate. The design of the gift certificate can be made as individual and unique as wished, and the certificate will remain valid for 24 months. Invited to a wedding? It is the best gift!

How long will it take to receive my painting?

Depending on complexity and size, I will ship the completed and approved oil painting directly to the address indicated by you in the order from. The shipping will usually just take a few days, however the oil paints used to create your painting must be dry as precondition. This drying process can take a couple of weeks for quality oil paint and varnish before the painting is ready to be shipped. Framing the painting will also add additional turnaround time. If you need your portrait painting or oil painting reproduction faster, please contact us to discuss the options or select the express service option during checkout. Very complex and large paintings may take a bit longer.

Is my private information protected?
