    • How are the Paintings Packaged?
    • Each Artwork is carefully packaged in a custom size corrugated box with additional protective material such as polyfoam and/or bubble wrap depending on the painting. Some oversize paintings (for example 48″ x 36″ – one single canvas) may be shipped rolled in a sturdy tube. International shipping: paintings larger than 20″ x 24 will be shipped rolled in a sturdy tube.
  • How are the Prints Packaged?
    • All Prints are shipped rolled in a sturdy tube.
    • Do you ship to my country?Shipping is FREE to the Continental US. For other countries is also FREE under certain conditions. Insurance, tracking number and Signature confirmation is required for most shipments. Handling time is usually 2 – 3 business days. Domestic shipping is usually 5-7 days depending on carrier and destination. Please note that during Holidays, your order may take slightly longer to process due to busy season. PO Boxes, APO, FPO or DPO are not accepted.
    • We ship Worldwide! It takes aprox. 5-15 days plus your local custom’s time for international shipping depending on destination. We are not responsible for shipping delays or omissions caused by the carrier or your country’s customs. In some cases, we cannot ship to certain countries due to customs regulations.     • We include the Certificate of Authenticity, general information about the artwork,. Stretched paintings are supplied with the appropriate hardware.
    • What happens when I click “Pay Now”?
    • You will be directed to a secure PayPal check out site. PayPal uses SSL technology which guarantees a safe purchase transaction. You do not need to have a PayPal account to purchase, you only need your credit / debit card or bank information to purchase the artwork. PayPal protects the buyer’s information with industry-leading security and fraud prevention systems, and the buyer’s financial information is not shared with the seller. Once your payment is complete, you will be emailed a receipt for the transaction.

    • How do I change quantities or cancel my order?
    • Click on “View Cart” or shopping cart icon at the top of the website. You will be able to change the quantity or remove your item(s). Please note that once an order has begun processing or has shipped, the order is no longer editable. You can always contact us for additional help.
    • How do I track my order?After your order has been processed. We will send you an email with your order and shipping information. You will be able to track your item visiting the carrier web site (USPS, UPS, Fed Ex, etc) and check your status.
    • What does it mean to “Make an Offer”?
    • It means that you can name your best price, negotiate, or make an offer to me on any artwork available. The offer is a legally binding commitment stating that you will buy the artwork for an agreed-upon price. Send your best price through the Make an Offer form. If your offer is accepted, we will send you an email with the link to purchase the artwork that has to be paid within three days. After the third day, your offer will be canceled unless you contact us to let us know when you expect to make the payment. In most cases, we will accept your offer or, if not, you may receive a counteroffer. From there you can either accept it or place another counteroffer of your own.
    • Why does the “Make an Offer” button not work for some paintings?
    • Because you can only “Make an Offer” on the retail price of an item. So, if the painting has a “Promotional Price” or is “On Sale”, the “Make an Offer” button won’t work.
  • What is the difference between buying prints directly from Carmenguedez.com versus buying from your partners?

    • Every canvas and poster print ordered directly from me Bernie Habicht is carefully inspected, includes a Certificate of Authenticity (signed and embossed), and is more affordable compare to our partners (including free shipping). However, since we do not do stretching or framing, we can only ship prints rolled in tubes. Through our partners, you can purchase a wider variety of ready to hang – prints, framed, metallic prints, greeting cards, and other products. As far as we know, our partners provide excellent quality products using our high-resolution images. If for some reason, you have a bad experience with any product purchased from any of our partners, please let us know and we will take actions immediately.
    • Returns / Refunds:
  • What if I am not happy with the artwork when I receive it?
  • If you don’t love it, return it! Please contact us to let us know. What if the Painting was damaged during the shipping process?
  • If your work of art is damaged during the shipping process, please retain the box/tube, artwork, all packaging materials and documents, as they will be needed to process the insurance claim with the shipping company. Contact us as soon as possible. For more information. All Sales are Final! Returns or exchanges will be accepted within 7 days of you receiving the artwork. If you are unhappy with the item and would like to return or exchange it, please contact us immediately and make sure it is packed and returned in the same condition, with all the documents included in the box/tube and insured. The artwork must be in its original condition. You are responsible for all related costs, including cost for shipping the package to you, and cost of shipping back your order to us. You must return your artwork first before the other one is shipped to you. RefundsBefore you send the item back, contact us for a return address and packing/shipping procedures. Artwork must be shipped with a tracking number, and preferably insured and with signature confirmation. In case of a loss, we are not responsible for it.  If your work of art is damaged during the shipping process, please retain the box/tube, artwork, all packaging materials and documents, as they will be needed to process the insurance claim with the shipping company.If the outside box/tube looks severely damaged, if possible refuse the shipment, take pictures of the box/tube and content to record any damage, and request the driver to note all the details. Damage or loss incurred during shipping is the delivery company’s responsibility. In the event that damage does occur to your artwork, contact us as soon as possible.WRONG ADDRESS, STOLEN PACKAGES, & UNCLAIMED SHIPMENTS
  • Claims must be properly filed within 5 days with the delivering carrier online or at your local post office. Inspect the shipping carton for holes, crushed corners. Be prepared to describe the damage in detail. Carrier may request digital photos of the tube/box, damaged item, box manufacturer’s certificate (usually a round seal) and of all packaging materials to help expedite a claim.
  • Damaged Packages
  • We don’t refund shipping costs if your shipment is unclaimed or returned to us for any reason. Even if we provided free shipping, there is a shipping cost associated to your product that will be deducted from your refund.
  • Original Paintings: All funds minus the shipping cost and packaging materials cost, will be refunded once the item is returned. Or, if you prefer, we can accept an exchange.

  • Wrong Address: If the address provided by the customer is wrong or incomplete, and USPS, UPS or any carrier, fail to deliver a package, the customer will need to pay the shipping charges once again to get the artwork re-sent. If carrier re-routes the package to the customer, the charges for the service as imposed on us will be passed on to the customer and the customer agrees to pay such and/or authorizes us to charge his/her credit card for such charges.
  • Stolen Packages: If a package is left by the carrier on a doorstep, and it is stolen, we will not be held responsible.
  • Unclaimed Shipments: If the package is at the carrier’s office unclaimed by the receiver or the package is deemed “undeliverable”, and returned to us; in that case, the receiver will be responsible for the additional shipping and handling cost for re-sending the package again.   • We are not responsible for shipping delays or omissions caused by the carrier or your country’s customs. In case of damaged packages, you must file a claim with your local customs and/or carrier. If you would like to return, you are responsible for all related cost, including cost for shipping the artwork and additionally you may be charged for any duties, taxes, brokerage or custom fees associated with your order.
  • If any unclaimed, undeliverable, rejected, or refused packages were returned to us, 20% restocking fee will be deducted from your refund, and any promotional discounts (including free shipping) will be nullified, and it will be charged at the time of return.
